In Malta there are two means of support for the RES technologies: price regulation and subsidies. [54] Price regulation (in term of feed-in tariff) are available only for solar technologies. System operators of solar installations receives 6,99 ct/kWh. There are no additional restriction. [54] The first grant system supports only wind parks which are located in Malta. The grant amount equals 25% of the purchase price however not more than 100 Lira (about 233 ). [54] The second grant system supports solar technologies. The grant amount equals 50% of the purchase price however not more than 3000 . [54] System operators in Malta are allow to conclude a grid connection contract with the grid operator (Enemalta Corporation).
