The amount of tariff are determinate by the Regulation and are related with price of natural gas and exchange between the Lat and the Euro. Solar systems are supported for 20 years and the rest for first 10 and for next 10 with decreased tariff. [54]

In Latvia the grid operator is obligated to connect the RES system as soon is possible but related with connection costs are covered by the system operator. Moreover the grid operator is statutory obligated to expanse the grid on area of his responsibility. The system operator is able to expanse the electrical network however then he have to cover related with it costs. [54]
