COGENERATION

Generation of energy is characterized with the highest losses in the whole power system (FIG. 1). That means that generation is the key process for the overall efficiency and improving it would be vital for reducing primary energy usage and consequently positive for energy conservation. The most effective system of producing energy using fossil fuels is cogeneration.
