EUROPEAN UNION ENERGY LABEL

The Directive 92/75/EC effectuated a duty of labeling the products. From then on every home appliance which was about to be sold in the EU was required to have clearly visible labels. That effort has given the customer opportunity of comparison of the products. Every label presents the most important information about the products such as performances use or noise. However the most important rate on the label is energy efficiency class which can be set from A to G where an A is put on the green stripe and signifies the most efficient appliance and a G is presented on the red strip and signifies the least efficient device. Some of the appliances have energy efficiency classes extended by A+ and A++ which imply even more efficient devices.
