The ceremony of 70th anniversary of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering took place at the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering on 23rd June 2015. At the ceremony were invited the University and Faculty authorities, the members of the institutions, which collaborate with the Institute, and former and present employees of the Institute.>>

During the XII Regional Days of Youth Electrical Engineers, held on April 16th, students of secondary schools from Lodz visited laboratories of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering. Participants have seen the Laboratory of Distributed Generation and the Laboratory of Electrical Lightning. Regional Days of Youth Electrical Engineers are annual event organized since 2003 by Student Branch SEP of Lodz University of Technology and Lodz University of Technology Student Branch IEEE.

We are pleased to announce that an employee of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering, Dr. Paweł Rózga, was elected to the authorities of the Polish Section of the IEEE Young Professionals. In the elections held in April and May of this year, Dr. Rózga was elected as Vice-Chair for the current term. This is another award to Dr. Rózga connected with his activity in the IEEE. In December 2013, he recived in the structures of IEEE the degree of Senior Member.

Employee of the Institute, dr Przemyslaw Tabaka is awarded by the Order of Professor Mieczyslaw Pożarski in recognition for his contribution to the Polish Committee of Lighting beeing in the structure of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers. more
The order was handed over March 28, 2014 in Warsaw, during the Presidium meeting of the Polish Committee of Lighting while dr Przemyslaw Tabaka became the memmber of the Committee

SKN „Energetyk” at the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering

The kick-off meeting, opening international scientific project - COTEVOS (Capacities and Methods for Testing EV systems and their interoperability within the Smart grid) – was held at October 1-2, 2013. The project is carried out as a part of EU 7th Framework Programme of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities.
