Fields of interests

Andrzej Kanicki graduated from the Technical University of Lodz, Poland. There he received the Ph.D. and D.Sc. degree in electrical power engineering. Presently he is a professor at the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering, Technical University of Lodz. A. Kanicki has published more than 100 articles, is an author or co-author of 7 technical books as well as worked on about 100 commissions from a range of industry sectors which were later adopted. In his scientific work A. Kanicki focuses mainly on the following issues: short-circuit currents calculation in power systems, power system modelling and simulation in fault conditions and application of computers in power system control.
